When I Am Among the Trees: Summer Respite Retreat in West Virginia
Mary Oliver’s poem invites us to find ourselves–something we must do again and again. A lifelong journey even. Weaving these reminders from nature, the concept of Sat Nam (true self), and others from our individual paths and shared journeys, we will spend this weekend together “walking slowly and bowing often.”
Join Anna Franklin for a summer retreat just over an hour’s drive from D.C. outside Charles Town & a short few miles from historic Harpers Ferry. Enjoy three days and two nights on over 350 acres of rolling hills of the Shenandoah Valley. Spend quiet time in the woods, sauna & fresh springs; nourish yourself with fresh, local food; or take a life-giving respite in the beautiful Claymont Center Mansion accommodations. Yoga (both Kundalini, Vinyasa, Yin/Restorative), meditation, chanting, some special ceremonies to help you release what you no longer need and set intentions for the present & the future, all included in this special weekend:) Free time for hiking and other outdoor or indoor activities (napping?) included. All People, All Levels are Welcome https://claymont.org/
